Portfolio

I design practical solutions that make information, systems, and processes easier to understand and use.

Featured Projects

The projects below include learning experiences, documentation, workflow improvements, product concepts, and independent work that demonstrate how I identify friction, organize complexity, and turn ideas into useful resources.

Creating a Marketing Course for Curious.com

In 2014, Curious.com invited me to create a self-paced Twitter marketing course after discovering my software tutorials on YouTube. I designed a 15-lesson learning experience with presentations, videos, and 50 knowledge-check questions. The course ultimately enrolled more than 900 learners and helped launch the next phase of my training career.

Coordinating a Multi-Channel Automotive Sales Campaign

A coordinated marketing campaign for a multi-day automotive sales event featuring website design, landing pages, email marketing, television advertising, newspaper ads, social media, and dealership signage. The campaign emphasized consistent messaging, intuitive vehicle browsing, and strong internal communication to create a seamless customer experience.

Redesigning an Enterprise Software Training Program

I redesigned a learning academy experience to make product training more accessible, scalable, and user-focused. By restructuring content, creating role-based learning paths, and developing self-service resources, I helped users find the information they needed faster while improving onboarding and long-term product adoption.

Creating Product Mockups That Accelerated Custom Order Approvals

This project showcases how realistic product mockups improved communication between customers, sales, and design teams. By creating production-aware visual proofs for custom sports balls, I helped accelerate customer approvals, support cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrate how thoughtful visual communication can streamline business processes.

Writing Clear Game Instructions for Consumer Backyard Games

I researched, illustrated, and wrote consumer-friendly instruction manuals for backyard games sold through major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. By combining clear writing, custom illustrations, and thoughtful information design, I transformed inconsistent game rules into documentation that helped first-time users confidently assemble and enjoy each product.

Designing a Home Inventory Mobile App for Everyday Users

This independent UX and product design project explores the creation of a home inventory mobile application from concept to prototype. Through competitive research, user-centered design, information architecture, and mobile interface mockups, I developed a scalable product vision focused on simplicity, organization, and long-term usability.

Redesigning an Unemployment Benefits Portal to Reduce User Friction

This independent UX redesign project explores how thoughtful interface design can improve the experience of navigating a government unemployment portal. Through usability analysis, interface redesigns, and desktop and mobile mockups, I demonstrate my approach to reducing friction, simplifying navigation, and designing with empathy for real users.

Designing a Customer Data Platform Strategy

This independent strategy project demonstrates my approach to Customer Data Platform planning using a publicly available retail website. It showcases customer journey analysis, data collection strategy, personalization opportunities, governance recommendations, and implementation planning while respecting the confidentiality of my professional CDP work.
